Kabal of the Blackened Sun

There are two 2000 points 40k events coming up in my are, and while I'd much rather play Warmachine or Flames of War, the Archon on me wants to capture some prisoners, too! I'm debating two different list builds, and here they are!

I have been using the same basic build for awhile now, since well before the latest codex came out. In fact, how I started playing Dark Eldar is kind of a fun story. The short version: a friend was selling everything he had for rock-bottom price. I got two raiders, a herd of warriors, some wyches, a talos, and a few IC...as well as a GW case all for $100! It's been growing ever since, though I refuse to buy any of the new sailboats...greatest technology in the universe and they need sailboats?! Stupid!

Anyway, the list idea has always been more or less MSU Lance-spam with a few melee beat-sticks. Since the release of the "new" codex, I'd been running slight variants of Wyches (either elite or troop) with Haemonculi (for FNP), some Trueborn with Blasters in Venoms, 4 Warrior squads (sometimes minimum with Blasters, sometimes max with Blasters & Cannons) in Raiders, three Ravagers with Lances, and two min squads of Reavers with a Heat Lance.

I've been pretty successful with this, doing well at some local tournaments and in pickup games at the FLGS, but it's always felt like it was missing something....but I've never quite figured out what it is.

I tried using Incubi, but had little success with them until recently. I tried using pain-point shennanigans to get them Furious Charge and Feel No Pain, and the results have been pretty special, at least when using them alongside a Huskblade armed Archon. In three games they've been able to cleave through Grey Knight Paladins with ease, as well as someone else Dark Eldar Wyches. The Archon gets a little expensive, particularly since the Incubi need him to have the Phantasm Grenade Launcher (nothing more depressing than seeing I6 go to waste because of a bush!), and frankly I like him to be as intimidating as possible...he's a nice psychological weapon, too!

Anyways, I've also experimented with the Razorwing Fighter. I kind of like the new model, and throwing down those 4 Large Blasts that wound nearly anything on 2s with rerolls (I like the shatterfields) is really sexy...but they're so many points!

So I have two lists in mind, basically one has 3 Razorwings and the Incubi/Archon beatstick; the other replaces the Razorwings with Ravagers, and fits in a unit of elite Wyches (but loses a unit of Trueborn). Tell me what you think!

The Ravager list trades away the 12 Large Blast shots and a Trueborn squad for a few more Lances and a deceptively mean Wych unit.

The Razorwing list has 11 Dark Lances, 10 Blasters, 2 Heat Lances, 7 Splinter Cannons (*but three of them are on the same vehicles as some of the Dark Lances, so will not be used to full effectiveness), and the Archon & Incubi for melee.

The Wych list has 14 Dark Lances, 8 Blasters, 2 Heat Lances, and 4 Splinter Cannons. Two instead of one Haemonculi, and both get Liquifier Guns (a wonderfully fun weapon!), and of course the big beefy Elite Wych squad that I know and love. The Wych and Incubi Raiders both got Shock Prows (primarily to push folks off objectives, but also potentially for ramming or squishing folks together for a liquifier shot). I'm considering juking points around to give the Wyches Haywire Grenades to help mitigate the threat of walker-tarpit instead of the Raider add-ons....this also allows them to tear up car-parks, too.
